PODCAST GUEST RELEASE AGREEMENT

1. CONSENT TO RECORD & USE

The Guest irrevocably grants the Producer the right to record the Guest’s voice, performance, and likeness (the "Recording") for the above-named Podcast. The Producer may use the Guest’s name, image, and biographical information in connection with the distribution and promotion of the Podcast.

 

2. EDITING & OWNERSHIP

The Producer shall have the exclusive right to edit, transcribe, and create derivative works from the Recording (e.g., social media clips, audiograms). The Producer owns the copyright to the final edited episode, while the Guest retains ownership of their underlying expertise and stories.

 

3. MUSIC RIGHTS & WARRANTIES

In addition to the Recording, the Guest may provide or perform musical works ("the Music"). The Guest represents and warrants that:

• Ownership: They are the sole owner of all rights to the Music, including the musical composition and the master recording.
• Permissions: The Music is original, and its use will not infringe upon the rights of any third party (e.g., record labels, publishers, or co-writers).
• License: The Guest grants the Producer a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, and royalty-free license to use the Music as part of the Podcast and its promotion.

 

4. NO COMPENSATION

The Guest understands that their participation is voluntary and that no monetary compensation or royalties will be provided now or in the future.

 

5. RELEASE & INDEMNITY

The Guest releases the Producer from all legal claims related to the use of the Recording or Music, including claims for defamation, privacy, or copyright infringement. The Guest agrees to indemnify the Producer against any third-party claims arising from a breach of the warranties in Section 3.

 

6. GOVERNING LAW

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of [Your State/Country].
